With a Saudi Arabian club having reportedly offered Cristiano Ronaldo big money to go to the Middle East, a second side is believed to be seriously interested in signing the 37-year-old.
Ronaldo To Reject Saudi Arabia Offer 'On One Condition'
Earlier this week, it was reported that Saudi giants Al Nassr have made an official approach for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, who departed Manchester United as a free agent before Portugal kicked off their 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign.
Ronaldo's agents are said to be studying the proposal, but another club has now emerged as a potential suitor, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
According to the Italian journalist, Al Hilal, also a club from the Middle Eastern country, is seriously considering an approach for the ex-Real Madrid talisman but cannot move for the forward in January due to a transfer ban.
"There is another club that wants Cristiano Ronaldo. This club is Al Hilal. It's true that Cristiano Ronaldo was approached by people close to Al Hilal," he said on his YouTube channel.
"People at the club are prepared to make another important and crazy proposal. There is one interesting point though. I am told Al Hilal are not able to sign players in January.
"They will only be able to sign players in the summer. That's why at the moment it is complicated.
"In January that's why Al Nassr are pushing and they would love to sign Ronaldo but Al Hilal also have an interest.
"The priority of Cristiano Ronaldo remains to have a new club as soon as possible."
Ronaldo's Portugal will be in World Cup action on Friday evening against South Korea.
