Arteta Makes Arsenal History, Breaks Wenger Record
For a month, Messi and Neymar will go from sharing a dressing room at club level to becoming foes once the global showpiece in the Middle East gets underway.
The two friends represent Argentina and Brazil, fierce rivals of international football, and having just contested a Copa America final in 2021, each will be looking to add the World Cup to their trophy cabinet.
As the tournament approaches,Alves, who played with both at Barcelona, has now revealed the key characteristic which differentiates Messi from Neymar and could help Argentina clinch their third world title.

"Neymar is something more plastic, more of juggling, Cirque du Soleil."

Even though Alves does not think Neymar has the same hunger to find the back of the net as his Paris Saint-Germain teammate, the most decorated footballer ever has described his skillful compatriot as a forward to be feared.
"Ney has an animal inside, which when people touch it, they want to harm it, it comes out with this stop and points," the 39-year-old added.
"Then you're dead, you can't stop it. It's his defense weapon."
