TS Galaxy chairman Tim Sukazi has admitted that releasing Sibusiso Vilakazi was not an easy decision for the club, despite inside information revealing that head coach Sead Ramovic was not impressed with the player. 

The Siya crew first revealed that the two parties have mutually parted ways and Sukazi has since confirmed that the player is no longer part of the club. According to information received by the Siya crew, Ramovic had a go at Vilakazi during the goalless draw against Swallows FC in the DStv Premiership and told him he would not train with the first team.

In a statement sent to the Siya crew by the Galaxy chairman, Sukazi stated that the player's exit was due to a lack of regular game-time. Vilakazi made 10 appearances for the side this season, after joining them from DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns. The Rockets have played 19 matches in total this season. 

The Siya rew reported that Vilakazi had been told to train with the Diski Challenge side side after a fallout with the coach. 

"TS Galaxy FC confirms its agreement for the mutual termination of contract it had with Sibusiso Vilakazi. This follows lack of regular game-time on the part of the player.

"Our Club has parted ways with Vila. It was not an easy decision because Vila is a player that we hold in high regard as a Club such that. The negotiations around the contract termination, even though understandable, were not a simple matter. Vila is an absolute professional who has contributed a lot to our Club within the shortest time of his stay. Our Club doors will remain open to him in the future."

Vilakazi is not the first player Galaxy have parted ways with this season, before the end of a contract. Keletso Makgalwa left Galaxy towards the end of last year, before his loan deal expired.
