The Siya crew has been led to believe that Mamelodi Sundowns are looking at the possibility of letting Katlego Mohamme leave before the close of the current transfer window.
The former SuperSport United player is yet to make an appearance for the Tshwane giants this season and indications are that he will be heading out for an opportunity to get game-time elsewhere.
Mohamme was signed from University of Pretoria and then loaned out to Swallows FC (now Moroka Swallows), before returning to Chloorkop last season to form part of the first team. This would have given the 25-year-old hope that he would break into the team, but things did not quite work out for him as he made just one appearance in all competitions, at a time the Brazilians had already wrapped up the defence of their DStv Premiership league title.
He came on in the final 10 minutes of the clash against Maritzburg United, which was Downs' last of the campaign. With the side having quite a number of options in central defence and at left back, two positions Mohamme can play in, the former junior international is unlikely to see action in the colours of Masandawana.
It's believed that discussions are currently happening behind the scenes for the Soshanguve-born star to make a move and AmaTuks are a possibility, but it's understood that options are being assessed by his camp to ensure the defender makes the right move for his career progress.
