As previously reported by the Siya crew, Sundowns confirmed that Botswana international, Mogakolodi Ngele was awaiting his permanent residency papers before he could be eligible to play for the club.

Ngele was an unused substitute in the Brazilians encounter against Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday and made his official debut of the season against Cape Town City at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium last night, December 19, confirming that he has officially been registered as a local player.

Mosimane will be thrilled to have the depth at his disposal, while also preparing to shop around in the January transfer window.

Sundowns are currently first placed on the Absa Premiership league standings with one game in hand, leading by just four points now after suffering defeat to Cape Town City last night.

However, the Brazilians will be eager to get back to winning ways when the Absa Premiership resumes action on in the first week of January 2018.
