Nkosingiphile Ngcobo Has Spoken Of His COSAFA Experience
Kaizer Chiefs starlet, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, says that it was an honour captaining South Africa's U20s at one of the COSAFA U20 Youth Championship matches.    The 18-year-old attacking midfielder played a crucial role for Thabo Senong's team as Amajita went on to lift the title, starting all of the matches other than the final itself due to injury.   Now, on his return to Mzansi, the Amakhosi youngster has spoken of his time in Zambia with the national team, explaining that it was a learning curve for him.    Read: Tinkler Promotes Another Youngster   He told Chiefs' official website, "It was a great experience. It was an honour to lead South Africa (in the semi-final). Being a captain comes with responsibility. For example, if the team is down, you have to pick the guys up. I raised my game so that everybody had to follow my example.   "The matches against Egypt and Mauritius were the hardest. Especially the first game against Egypt was tough.   "I learnt a lot… We love to build-up from the back. That's good, but we also need to look earlier for that pass forward, playing more direct football. That's how you win games."    Ngcobo, who is already training with Chiefs' senior team, scored during the group stages and captained the team during the semi-final win over Egypt.
