Siphiwe 'Shabba' Tshabalala has been on form for Kaizer Chiefs and Siya sources have indicated that a new deal could be on the cards for the player.
Shabba has featured in every single domestic fixture for Amakhosi to date, making 18 league starts out of the 20 fixtures played in the Absa Premiership so far.

The winger has scored four and assisted six goals so far in the current 2017/18 season, also proving to be a game-changer when coming off the bench for Amakhosi.
However, the 33-year-old's deal with Chiefs is set to come to an end on June 30 this year, although, as confirmed by the Soweto giants last year, the club placed an added one-year option on the player's current contract.

Siya sources have revealed that amongst the discussions to exercise the option, there have been talks of a new deal for the player, which could see Shabba's stay extended to beyond the 2018/19 campaign.
According to sources, the two parties could be expected to begin discussions about Shabba's future this month and it remains to be seen when Chiefs will make an official announcement on the player's future.
