As reported in last week's edition of Soccer Laduma, Siya sources revealed that the Premier Soccer League is questioning the legitimacy of the Cape Town-based club's new sponsorship with the betting platform.
Sources revealed at the time that City contravened the league's resolution after acquiring the sponsorship from the betting company, as the PSL's Executive Committee previously decided that it will only be beneficial for the league to secure a sponsorship from a betting company and that all clubs will not enter into agreements with these platforms.

According to sources, City chairman, John Comitis, was part of that Executive Committee that made the decision at the time.
Soccer Laduma has since been informed that the PSL has called a meeting with all clubs part of the National Soccer League in order to discuss the current dispute with a board of Governors.
The meeting is set to take place today, Monday, August, 21 and it remains to be seen what the official outcome will entail.
