Betting Tips: Can Bafana Secure A Trip To Russia?

Soccer 6

The match of the weekend is none other than the World Cup qualifier encounter between South Africa and Burkina Faso. A win for The Stallions will see them enhance their chances of going to Russia, while Bafana are last in group D, with one point.

Egypt and Congo will go head-to-head on Sunday, October 8. Congo lost three of their four World Cup qualifying encounters, while their opponents are leading the pack with three wins.

With just a point separating Cape Verde and Senegal in group D, this promises to be an interesting battle. The Islanders will be looking to secure all three points to top the group, however, they will have to hope that Bafana Bafana beat leaders, Burkina Faso.

South Africa vs. Burkina Faso (World Cup Qualifiers Third Round)

FIFA Rankings: Bafana Bafana 64th & Burkina Faso 49th

Group Standing: Bafana Bafana 4th & Burkina Faso 1th

Useful Facts: Bafana will be without Erick Mathoho, who is out suspended. On-form Qarabag’s Dino Ndlovu makes his way back into the fold, while Reeve Frosler and Thamsanqa Mkhize are the new call-ups. Burkina Faso, led in attack by Gnaly Maxwell Cornet, tops Group D with six points and will look to secure an away win against Bafana. The Stallions’ last World Cup qualifier match was against Senegal, which they drew 2-2 and a win will massively boost their chances of going to Russia next year.

Duncan Crowie is living in the world of his own! Listen, to be compatriot or not-Bafana will just be Bafana on the day and get the beating of their lives like they always does. I can bet-if Bafana win-i will squash the camera-excitement minister's balls!
