Zimbabwean Club Gives Clarity On Orlando Pirates And Their Player
The latest information regarding Orlando Pirates and Zimbabwean defender, Honest Moyo, is that no deal has been signed by the parties, according to reports.
Recent reports coming through from Zimbabwe have indicated that Pirates reportedly signed the player.
It was indicated that the left back reportedly signed a two-year deal with Bucs from Highlanders FC in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League.
Moyo is one of the players who was impressive in his performances at the COSAFA Cup, won by Zimbabwe here in South Africa.
Following the reports about the assumed deal, Highlanders have since issued a club statement on the team’s social media platforms to clarify the issue.
“Honest Moyo has not signed any contract with Orlando Pirates as rumoured by the national broadcaster; ZBC and perpetuated by other social media pages that have nothing to do with Bosso. Honest remains a Bosso player,” stated Highlanders.
So far in this transfer window, Bucs have announced deals for Thamsanqa Sangweni, Wayne Sandilands as well as Nigerian striker, Christian Obiozor.
