The right back, who joined Pirates before the start of the 2016/17 PSL campaign, is making a return to KwaZulu-Natal after only one season in Gauteng.
It was after he had played and did well with Golden Arrows that Sikhakhane earned himself a deal with the Soweto giants last year.
"Thembela Sikhakhane has arrived at AmaZulu. He is joining the team for the new season. The club's (AmaZulu) officials have already taken pictures of him in the team's colours, meaning that his signing will be confirmed on the club's website soon. He has started training with the team," a source confirmed to the Siya crew.
