Rooney Rescues Everton, Palace Thrashed By Huddersfield

Everton 1-0 Stoke City 
 
Wayne Rooney scored on his return debut for Everton in their 1-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday afternoon. 
 
Rooney got the all important goal in the stroke of halftime with an impressive looping header to after getting on the end of Dominic Calvert-Lewin's cross.
 
Crystal Palace 0-3 Huddersfield Town 
 
Steve Mounie grabbed a brace for Huddersfield Town and guided them to a shock 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.  
 
Joel Ward scored an own goal in the 23rd minute and set the tone for the away team. 
 
Mounie made it 2-0 three minutes later and completed his brace in the 78th minute to condemn Palace to an opening day defeat. 
 
West Bromwich Albion 1-0 AFC Bournemouth 
 
Ahmed Hegazi scored on his debut to help West Bromwich Albion beat Bournemouth 1-0 on Saturday in their EPL opener.
 
Hegazi scored with the header as early as the third minute, and the Baggies managed to hold out for rest of the 87 minutes to claim the win.
 
Southampton 0-0 Swansea City 
 
Swansea City were held to a goalless draw by Southampton in their league opener on Saturday afternoon. 
 
The Saints looked more likely to claim all the three points, but the Swansea defense repelled all their dangerous moves.

Scoring 1 goal in ur first game is good but that doesnt make u a good player..... Quick to conclude if he score only this goal in the first 5 games will u nw turn ur back and say he is not good player??? This thing should go with time u dnt become a good or a bad player overnight..... Give him chance nd motivation if u folliw him.... if u dnt follow still keep silent till the 15 games mark nd review him accordingly!!
