Betting Tips: Bucs Seek For Light At The End Of The Tunnel

Supabets: Bucs Seek For Light At The End Of The Tunnel

By Soccer Laduma - Feb 17, 2017 07:00 PM

On Saturday, Orlando Pirates travel to the Mother City as they play away against Cape Town City FC. The Cape-side are in contention for the league title and will by all means seek to take advantage of the struggling Pirates team.

Blackburn face off against Manchester United in an FA Cup tie on Sunday at Ewood Park. The Red Devils are in a much better form than their opponents, however the home side will seek to cause an upset.

Fulham host Tottenham at Craven Cottage. Both sides have had good performances in their respective leagues and will want to outdo each other coming into this fixture.

Cape Town City v Orlando Pirates (Absa Premiership)

League rankings: Cape Town City 1st & Orlando Pirates 10th

Useful facts: With Cape Town City having won two consecutive games and losing just twice in their last 15 in all competitions, Eric Tinkler will be hosting his former team at the perfect time. Pirates are winless in seven and are fresh off a 6-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns. But, with five wins from their last 12 against their opponents on Saturday, the Buccaneers can at least hold onto a favourable historical record, which may give them some confidence.

Blackburn v Man Utd (FA Cup)

League rankings: Blackburn 22nd (Championship) & Man Utd 6th (Premier League)

Useful facts: The reigning FA Cup champions are undefeated in their last nine games in this competition, while Blackburn have won only two of their last six in all competitions. It will also come as no surprise to see that United dominate the recent encounters, with three wins and only one loss from their last six against Benni McCarthy’s former team.

Fulham v Tottenham (FA Cup)

League rankings: Fulham 9th (Championship) & Tottenham 2nd (Premier League)

Useful facts: Spurs have won five of their last six against Fulham, but the form charts show that we may be in for an interesting London Derby, given that the Championship side have three wins from their last five, as opposed to Tottenham’s two.
