Mamelodi Sundowns are looking to possibly bring former midfielder, Bongani Zungu back to the Chloorkop-based club come the January transfer window.
After Zungu's contribution to the team's efforts last season, the player could be a vital component to head coach Pitso Mosimane's plans to defend Sundowns' Absa Premiership title in this campaign.
The player's contract with Masandawana came to an end on June 30, after he signed a pre-contract with his new club as he looked to continue his professional footballing-career abroad.
The 23-year-old jetted off to Europe in the off-season, joining up with Victoria Guimaraes.

However, due to sustaining a long-term injury, Zungu is still looking to make his official debut for the Portuguese outfit.
If the player is still battling for game-time come the January transfer window, Siya sources have revealed that Sundowns management are looking to bring the midfielder back to the club on loan.
However, indications are that Zungu would be reluctant to make such an early return to Mzansi, and would rather opt to fight for his place in the Guimaraes squad, rather than returning to his former club.
