Teams: Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila v Kaizer Chiefs
Date: 04 May 2021
Venue: Peter Mokaba Stadium
Kaizer Chiefs make the trip to Limpopo to take on relegation-threatened Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in the DStv Premiership this evening.
Gavin Hunt's charges have been struggling for consistency in the league this season, which has been evident recently as they followed their win over Mamelodi Sundowns with a loss to Chippa United before they drew 2-2 with Bloemfontein Celtic over the weekend.
The loss to Chippa has seen Chiefs drop to ninth in the standings, three points behind the top eight but a big win could the Soweto giants leapfrog TS Galaxy.
Gavin Hunt's side will come up against a Tshakuma side sitting in the relegation/promotion play-off spot after a 2-1 loss to Black Leopards over the weekend.
A victory this evening will see TTM up to 14th position and drag Chippa United into the bottom-two slots.
When these two sides met at FNB Stadium earlier in the season, the Amakhosi claimed a 3-0 win thanks to goals from Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Lebogang Manyama and Happy Mashiane.
