A former Manchester United player has revealed why he believes Dutch boss Louis van Gaal is one of the worst managers he has worked with in his professional career.
Report: Star Frustrated With Man Utd After Blocking Transfer
The ex-Netherlands head coach was hired by the Red Devils in 2014 to replace the sacked David Moyes, who was appointed as the club's first manager of the post-Sir Alex Ferguson era.
While he did win the FA Cup with United in 2016, Van Gaal did not win over many people during his two-year spell at Old Trafford, especially Rafael da Silva, who played just 11 times under the Dutchman.
In a recent interview, the right-back revealed that he saw his lack of game time coming before it happened as he was told the Dutch tactician did not like Brazilians.
"When they said Van Gaal was the manager, a lot of friends called me," Rafael told The Athletic.
"I could not believe it, as a lot of people told me he does not like Brazilians because of their style of play. They told me, 'The first thing he is going to do is take you out.'

"On the second day, he said, 'You can leave'. I had not even trained, and he said that. I could not believe it.
"Ryan Giggs tried to defend me a lot. I spoke with him and I could not understand it because I had not even had a chance to show my football to Van Gaal in training.
"He just came and said, 'You can leave'. He did not explain why. He said, 'You will not play this season, I am not going to use you, if you want to leave, you leave.'
