On-loan Mamelodi Sundowns forward Yannick Zakri has found himself in a good vein of form with Ajax Cape Town this season, and during the Urban Warriors' crucial 1-0 win over Bidvest Wits in the Absa Premiership this week, he sported a new goal celebration. Did you see it?
Given that Ajax have been battling to move away from the relegation zone this season, fans may feel that there's no reason to dance and have fun at this stage of the campaign.
However, the win over Wits moved Ajax to within a point of SuperSport United in 14th spot, and are now three points adrift of Polokwane City, who are 13th.
Having played in six league games for Ajax thus far, Zakri has managed to find the back of net on three occasions. His strike against Wits, however, could prove to be one of the most important this season.
