The 28-year-old recently ended his long-term partnership with Nike and switched to PUMA, as he announced on 12 September.
"I grew up watching videos of great football legends such as Pele, (Johan) Cruyff, Eusebio and (Diego) Maradona, who each played in PUMA," Neymar wrote in a post on social media.
"For these reasons, from today onward, I have the honour to unite with the brand that helped the biggest legends of football become what they are."
With many wondering how much the Paris Saint-Germain superstar will earn with PUMA, The Sun has claimed he will receive £23 million (R498 million) a year from the sportswear manufacturer.
That is more than double what Nike were paying him (£11 million, R238 million annually), and also trumps Ronaldo and Messi's current boot deals.
The Portuguese superstar reportedly receives £15 million (R325 million) a year from Nike, while Messi is understood to pocket £18 million (R390 million) from adidas.
The only other footballer earning close to what the three superstars are getting from their boot deals is Kylian Mbappe, who is understood to earn £14 million per annum with Nike.
