Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has seemingly dismissed speculation that he will be looking to raid Real Madrid for another one of their stars.
The Italian tactician lured James Rodriguez to Goodison Park in the previous transfer window, having had a good relationship with the Colombia star during their time together at Los Blancos and Bayern Munich.
Ancelotti has now been linked with a move for Spanish playmaker Isco, who seems to have dropped out of favour under Real manager Zinedine Zidane.
The Toffees head coach was quizzed about his reported interest in the Spain international following Everton's 2-1 defeat to Newcastle United on the weekend, and appeared to pour cold water on talk that he could be looking sign the player.
"Isco is a fantastic player and [I have] a fantastic memory of him, but now I am not, honestly, focused there," he said, according to the Daily Mirror.
"I am focused on an important week we are going to have to recover players and to be well prepared for the game against (Manchester) United."
Isco reportedly clashed with Real captain Sergio Ramos recently, and was also caught on camera complaining about his game time under Zidane during the latest El Clasico.
