Betting Tips: Will Monaco Break The Italians?
On Wednesday, May 3, SuperSport United host Bloemfontein Celtic in an ABSA Premiership league encounter. Matsatsantsa have recently been out of form which has seemingly ruled them out of the title chase. On the other hand, Celtic have had a string of poor results and will be hoping to take advantage of SuperSport.
The UEFA Champions league encounter between Monaco and Juventus takes place at Stade Louis on Wednesday evening. Looking at the form of both sides, this promises to be a tough match.
On Thursday, May 4, Celta Vigo face off against Manchester United in a Europa league fixture. United are currently in good form as compared to their opponents and will be out to continue their undefeated streak in Europe.
SuperSport Utd v Bloemfontein Celtic (Absa Premiership)
League rankings: SuperSport 5th & Celtic 12th
Useful facts: Stuart Baxter’s men are on a terrible run that has seen them fall, unequivocally, out of the title race, with just one win and two losses from their last six games. Celtic, however, are even worse off, with no wins in that timeframe. The Tshwane-based side have a great record against the Free State team, with six wins and five losses coming from their last 21 league encounters.

Monaco v Juventus (Champions League)
League rankings: Monaco 1st (Ligue 1) & Juventus 1st (Serie A)
Useful facts: With either side winning one and drawing one of their last three head to head encounters, this tie looks about as close as it can get. But Juventus have kept a clean sheet in eight of their last 10 Champions League games and this free-scoring Monaco team may find it difficult to break the Italians down. Yet, with five wins from their last six in all competitions, as opposed to Juve’s four, there’s no telling how this game could finish.

Celta Vigo v Man Utd (Europa League)
League rankings: Celta 11th (La Liga) & Man Utd 5th (Premier League)
Useful facts: Celta are on a horrid run of three losses in all competitions, but remain undefeated in their last five in the Europa League. However, United are undefeated in eight in Europe and have lost just one of their last six away matches in all competitions. With no historical record to speak of, it will be interesting to see how this one turns out.
