Ajax Cape Town’s youngsters are set to depart for their annual tour of the Netherlands this weekend, May 21.

The young team lead by Coach, Duncan Crowie and Kosta Scholiadis is set to participate in two major youth tournaments, with the first one being the Terborg Toernooi, which would take place from May, 26 until May, 28. Ajax will be going up against Flamengo from Brazil, De Graafschap from the Netherlands and English-outfit, Manchester United.

The second tournament which is called the ICGT Tournament will take place from June 3, until June 5 and the young Ajax side will lock horns with Dutch-outfits, Vitesse, AZ Alkmaar and Torino from Italy in the group stages.

“The tour will serve as a perfect opportunity for our players to test their abilities against top class players in their same age groups and what a perfect way to do that against academy teams like Real Madrid, Manchester United, Flamingo, RC Lens and Atlético Mineiro – to name but a few,” Crowie told Ajax’s official website.
