Key Mamelodi Sundowns Man In Moon Boot
Mamelodi Sundowns’ Tiyani Mabunda has been placed in a moon boot as he looks to recover from his ankle injury.
The club confirmed last week on their official website that several of their first-team players are currently nursing injuries, including Mabunda.

Mabunda, Ricardo Nascimento, Asavela Mbekile, Soumahoro Bangaly, Wayne Arendse, Sibusiso Vilakazi, Denis Onyango are the current Masandawana players who are nursing respective injuries and could be out for some time.
While Vilakazi and Onyango could be back to action soon, Mabunda might be facing some time on the sidelines, after the player has been put in the moon boot following an MRI scan on his ankle.
The 28-year-old has been instrumental in Mamelodi Sundowns’ CAF Champions League campaign and played an influential role towards the end of their winning 2015/16 Absa Premiership league run.
It seems that team captain, Hlompho Kekana, will be without his midfield partner for some time, however, indications are that Teko Modise will once again look to step up for the Brazilians in the absence of Mabunda when they host SuperSport United at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Thursday, April 13.
