FC Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement with Juventus over a shock swap deal that would see midfield star Miralem Pjanic and another player join the Spanish giants.
According to Sport, the Blaugrana are close to finalising a surprising swap transfer with the Bianconeri ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
It is claimed that Portugal right-back Nelson Semedo will head to Turin, with Bosnian star Pjanic and Italian fullback Mattia De Sciglio going the other way to join the Catalan club.
While Pjanic has been a first-team regular at Juventus since his arrival from Roma in 2016, De Sciglio considered as more of a back-up defender, despite the promise he showed early in his career.
The deal will also reportedly include a cash sum of £22 million (R493 million) going to Barcelona, with the LaLiga giants desperate to raise funds to make a move for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.
Pjanic, 30, has represented Juve on 167 occasions in four years, while De Sciglio, 27, has played 60 times for the Turin club's first-team since joining from AC Milan in 2017.
Despite his lack of game time under manager Maurizio Sarri, the right-back has been capped 39 times for Italy, and Pjanic 92 times for Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Semedo has been in and out of the Blaugrana's starting XI since joining from Benfica three years ago, but has been in arguably his best form for the club this season, assisting five goals in 29 matches across all competitions.
