Paseka Mako – the Orlando Pirates utility player – has been commended for his performances and contribution to the team.
Mako, 26, has started in both matches against Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits respectively, since Pirates' return from the break.
In total, the former Chippa United player has made 10 starts, and Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer has been impressed with his progress.
"For me, Mako is one of the best players in my team. In the last game he was one of the best players in the team. At the moment he has a lot of self-confidence and helps us very much," Zinnbauer told the media after the Wits match on the weekend.
Mako will hope to keep his place in Zinnbauer's starting 11 for tomorrow's match against Baroka at the Emirates Airline Park.
