Real To Be Offered €150m World Record Kit Deal?

Real Madrid To Be Offered €150m World Record Kit Deal?

Real Madrid could reportedly end their 19-year-long partnership with adidas and sign a new world record deal, worth R2.1 billion, with another sportswear manufacturer.

Los Blancos have been with adidas since 1998, but have fallen behind Manchester United and FC Barcelona in the kit deals ranking.

According to Marca, American franchise Under Armour have identified Real as targets to break further into the European market.

Under Armour was founded in 1996, and sponsor world stars such as Stephen Curry (basketball), Jordan Spieth (golf) and Michael Phelps (swimming).

They have also been Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur's kit manufacturers since 2011, but now want to extend their reach in football.

The potential deal would reportedly make the Spanish giants the highest paid club after Real sources apparently told the American manufacturer they would only leave adidas for a deal worth €150 million (R2.1 billion) a year.

Currently, United receive €95 million (R1.3 billion) a year plus incentives from adidas, while Barcelona follow with €85 million (R1.2 billion) annually from Nike.

well money talks this days & if under armour are willing to put their money where their mouth is then go 4 it....................unless adidas up their game cz there's no way in hell they gonna give under achievers like man utd so much money on a kit deal & not give the most successful team in europe & the richest club by revenue for the last 12 yrs a better deal, there's no sense in that....................so adidas must up their game or we go for another kit/technical sponsor just like chelsea are leaving you for nike next season.

If the popular brands won't splash the cash then some amateur ones will take advantage. It's the nature of business

adidas, nike, puma, kappa and umbro have always been the godfathers of football gears, especially for big clubs, im not sure if UA can compete with these giants, but since its all about that lucrative deal then im sure Los Blancos would want to venture in this deal.

Under Armour is the trend setter, all these top brands copy from them, so don't undermine the brand
