Pitso Mosimane agrees that an Orlando Pirates star should be nominated for the annual Footballer of the Season award, however, is still adamant that Hlompho Kekana should not be overlooked again.
Kekana has been nominated for the midfielder of the season several times, however, is yet to walk away with the prestigious award.

Speaking to the media, after being named Absa Premiership coach of the month for February, Mosimane pointed out that Lorch warrants a nomination for the annual award, this after also being named the Absa Premiership player of the month.
"I would obviously like to see Lorch nominated, he has earned his dues, he's played Champions League and in the PSL, he is playing in the number one and two fights," Mosimane told the media.
"I always speak about my players, Kekana, unbelievable, maybe my footballer of the year, hey, I know he failed to win midfielder of the year for five years in a row, so when you are nominated for five years in a row, it means that you have been the best player for five years," he added.
