A decision is expected to be made at Orlando Pirates about an international defender who is on the club's radar.
After spending the last few weeks training with the team, Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah has impressed the Buccaneers, according to sources close to the club.
Ndah is contracted to Nigeria Professional Football League club Akwa United, and he was influential in the team's league triumph of the 2020/21 season with his performances.
Indications are that Bucs are likely to table an offer for the 23-year-old centre-back, although his signing might be delayed after the club made technical team changes after parting ways with German coach Josef Zinnbauer on Monday afternoon.
"Olisa Ndah has done really well in training. He is a talented player who keeps improving in his game. The club (Pirates) has been impressed with him. He is likely to be signed," a source close to Pirates revealed.
"The club will just have to finalise with the technical team matters after parting ways with the coach and will then focus on finalising with the players that are still to be signed," the source added.
