FC Barcelona's Two Main Transfer Targets Revealed?
Many expect Spanish giants FC Barcelona to spend big next season, and it has now been reported that these two players are their main targets.
According Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan giants have identified Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti and Arsenal right back Hector Bellerin as priority targets for the next transfer window.
The Spanish side have been monitoring both players for some time, but have apparently been actively talking to Verratti's agent Donato Di Campli.
The Italian midfielder has been in terrific form this season for his French club, and with his impressive performance against Luis Enrique's men in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash, the club were forced to step up their interest.
Verratti has publicly stated that he would like to see out his contract in Paris for the time being, but that could all change once a formal bid is made.
The other player being closely monitored is the Blaugrana's former youth player Bellerin, but they know he could come at a high price.
A number of Arsenal stars are reportedly worried about Arsene Wenger's future at the club, and are considering leaving for greener pastures.
No offer has been made for these two stars, but bids are expected once the season is over.
