Antoine Griezmann Reveals One Club He Would Consider Joining
Atletico Madrid and France forward Antoine Griezmann has revealed the one club he would consider joining – and it is not Manchester United.
The 25-year-old has become one of the world's most sought after strikers following some great form for both club and country in recent campaigns.
There have been plenty of rumours that Griezmann could sign for the Red Devils next season, but according to the player, there is another club he could join later in his career.
"Maybe but not for the moment," the Frenchman told RMC when asked if he would consider joining national teammates Patrice Evra and Dimitri Payet at their latest club, Marseille.
"Maybe later. Marseille was my club when I was very young, after that it was Lyon because it was closer and they had (Sonny) Anderson, Juninho and there was (Karim) Benzema.
"From when I was really young, it was Marseille. I remember I had their gold jersey. I went (to the Stade Velodrome) once with a friend and my parents as well."
Griezmann won the Golden Boot at the 2016 European Championship, and has continued his rich vein of form this season, scoring 16 goals in all competitions.
