Orlando Pirates defender Innocent Maela recently spoke out about his performances for the Buccaneers since the start of the season.
The left back has taken ownership of his position in defence since rejoining the team at the end of last season. The 25-year-old recently spoke out about his debut in the Soweto Derby, and how nerve-racking it was for him.
The supporters have had their say about the defender's showcase in the derby, and some feel he was impressive in the game and just needs to polish his rough ends.
"Boy, I would wish to encourage you to be more aggressive when going forward, you make good crosses but I want that sting and confidence because there is good cover for you in the defence." – david joko mzamo
"It's a great feeling to any new player to be in the starting line-up in the Soweto Derby." – Myaka weliPhefeni
"Except for the ball that you lost to Tshabalala in the 18-yard area, you were marvellous on your debut. Keep up the good work." – The Ghost himself
"Keep on working hard, good things will come your way, boy." – daddy X
