Reports: African Star Agrees Terms With Jose Mourinho's Manchester United

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly agreed to a deal for one of Africa's troubled, yet brightest, stars.

Hazard Hints At Chelsea Exit?

According to French publication L'Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain right back Serge Aurier has held talks with the Red Devils boss, and has agreed to join the English giants.

The Ivory Coast international recently lost his place in the French side's starting line-up due to his poor off-field behaviour, and the club has apparently had enough and is willing to move him on.

The 24-year-old is said to be seen as the long-term replacement for Ecuadorian Antonio Valencia, who has been playing right back all season for Mourinho.

It is believed that Matteo Darmian, Phil Jones, and Chris Smalling are all aware that their places in the squad are under threat, having failed to impress since the Portuguese manager's arrival at the beginning of the season.

United are seemingly aware that signing the player will come with some extra issues, though – Aurier was sentenced to two months in prison for assaulting a police officer in Paris last year, and also sparked a FIFA investigation after using a throat-slitting gesture to celebrate a goal while playing for his national team.

Do you think the defender will clean up his act if he plays under Mourinho? Have your say in the comments section below.
