Manchester United Legend Slams Pogba Brothers
A Manchester United legend has ripped into Paul Pogba and his brother Florentin after they played against each other in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.
The Pogba brothers played against one another for the first time in their careers when United beat Saint-Etienne 3-0 on Thursday, but Roy Keane, a former Red Devils captain, believes the siblings took things too far in their UEFA Europa League clash.
"The boy, Pogba, he's a bit of a free spirit, a bit of a character. But I think it was a little bit over the top tonight – before the game and at half-time," the Irishman told ITV Football after the match.
"They've spoke more tonight than I have to any of my brothers (Keane has three siblings: Denis, Pat and Johnson) in the last five years.
"It's all a bit strange. I think when the game started they were focused on the game.
"But all this stuff before and after the game, a lot of nonsense – but that's the modern player I'm afraid."
Pogba has played 34 games in all competitions for United this season, scoring seven goals and assisting a further four strikes.
