The Soweto giants landed in Angola on Sunday afternoon and had hoped to have their first training session on the same day in order to acclimatise to the conditions in Luanda, however, due to the country's strict COVID-19 protocols, they were unable to do so.

Gavin Hunt received a welcoming boost to his squad in the return of Samir Nurkovic, who's been a notable absentee in the Amakhosi set-up ever since the start of the 2020/21 campaign.
