Bucs Coach: There Will Be A Lot Of Happy People

Orlando Pirates Coach Has Made Promise To The Happy People

By Soccer Laduma - May 19, 2017 07:01 PM

Going into the Nedbank Cup semi-final game against Golden Arrows, Orlando Pirates head coach, Kjell Jonevret, has promised that there will be a lot of happy people after the team’s campaign.

The Buccaneers will be hosted by Abafana Bes’thende at the Princess Magogo Stadium on Sunday in a game that can go a long way to change the season for the Soweto giants.

Bucs are positioned 11th on the PSL log with only one game remaining for the team this season. The only hope for Jonevret and the team to achieve cup success would be to win against Arrows and go on to beat the winners of the Chippa United and SuperSport United game in the final on June 24.

The Bucs coach confirmed to Soccer Laduma that he is looking forward to winning his first cup in Mzansi.

“Of course, ha, ha, ha. Maybe I’m a little bit naïve, but I always think we can win every game. I can see how much it means to the supporters. When I meet people in town and everywhere, they say, ‘Please give us the cup! Give us the Nedbank!’ Of course, for a big club like Pirates, it’s very important. It’s going to be tough, but we have a chance. With all the top six teams out of the cup, except for SuperSport United, we should do our best. It’s going to be fantastic because this season hasn’t been what the supporters expected from the beginning, I think. But there will be a lot of happy people,” said the Swedish mentor.

We need a coach like Krol a coach who is not afraid to bench so called star players the way i look at it its like he is instructed to play certain players by someone else. I think there is a lot of politics in our team we need a chairman who will be more hands on not a chariman who send screamer to take care of things

In football there are two kinds of people outside the field, supporter and a fan. Supporters are the ones that walk, talk, eat, breath, sleep football then there are fans those are the ones that are going to stadiums with pockets full of stones, because when they lose they don't see why they lost. Before you point fingers to the coach look at the quality of players we have in the team and before the new coach came in we chased 3 good defenders Rooi Mohamutsa, tshabalala and gumede now we suffering in that department after that we chased myeni away then we were left with one player and that's Makola who is now not producing any goodies for the team. But after all that you still blaming the coach the poor guy is using what we have in the team then off season the cheque will be opened for him to buy players and Chase the useless ones like makola, matlaba, jele, gcaba

We will see, I lost my appetite the moment we drew with baroka at home to watch pirates games, I asked myself which team are going to beat when baroka nearly beat us, so this weekend if we win it will be via penalties because we can't score and if arrows score first it means its game over,i've lost my trust on pirates, even though i still love my pirates...up the bucs until I die

No one Was expecting that by that time Even Khoza Got surprised.. Kjell need to Talk with Players.. Nothing is wrong at Rats. .A team that get hot n cold like Rats can do anything Thy want ..If thy want to win thy can win ..if thy want to Lose Thy can lose ..it is up to them #Muhsin Ertogral

You dreaming...I quess...I wonder what do you teach this players during training sessions...cx there's no commitment..no energy..no team work. ...no sense of ergency..no communication...they loose the ball easily..no having a will to win..lot of players should be offloaded...makola...motupa... nyausa...phungwayo...rakhale. ..mokondelela...loaned...nkosi ..loaned...then buy..motswari..sangweni...and mahaxe..from arrows...only..
