Spanish giants Real Madrid have announced that they have extended the contract of one of their superstars.

The UEFA Champions League winners have confirmed that Croatian midfielder Luka Modric has extended his contract at the club until 2020.

The 31-year-old playmaker joined Los Blancos back in 2012 from Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur.
Modric has become a major pillar for the club over recent years and has formed a formidable midfield partnership with Germany's Toni Kroos.
'I've Signed My Last Deal At Barca'
The midfielder is yet to win a La Liga crown with the Madrid-based club, but he has won two Champions Leagues, two UEFA Super Cups, one Spanish Cup and one Spanish Super Cup during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu.
