The results of the final round have ensured that three teams have booked their spots in the playoffs, however, we await the result of the NWU vs Wits match to determine who will become the final team to challenge for the title.
TUT went into the final round having already sewn up top spot on the log and managed to remain the only unbeaten side in the competition after securing a 2-2 draw with UWC, which subsequently knocked the defending champions out of the competition.
CUT knew they needed just one spot to claim themselves a home semifinal and they did just that after playing out to an exciting goalless draw with NWU-Mafikeng. That result means NWU would need just one point from their remaining match to reach the next stage.
UJ's 4-1 victory over Fort Hare in Alice ensured their spot in the next round while Wits' 3-2 victory over UP-Tuks ended the two-time champions' run in the competition.
Mpumelelo Sambo (UJ)
May have conceded an early goal but pulled off a fine penalty save to ensure his side remained in control against Fort Hare.
Wendelle Martin (NWU)
He has been erratic and somewhat scrappy in recent matches but put in a fine display when it was really needed to ensure his side never conceded against CUT.
Funnynight Sisimogang (UJ)
Got the scoring going for UJ with a quick brace to give them the much-needed momentum after conceding an early goal.
Bongani Matsemela (CUT)
The CUT captain marshalled his defensive troops well but his game awareness came to the fore when he bailed his goalkeeper out with a clearance off the line in the dying seconds of the match.
Dane Fortuin (UJ)
Proving to be a dead-ball specialist after he bagged yet another brilliant free-kick goal.
Thulani Mkosi (UWC)
Displayed why he was the 2015 Player of the Tournament by being at the heart of the defending champions' attacks.
Jacob Hlalele (TUT)
Came off the bench midway through the second half and immediately changed the complexion of the game as he tormented the UWC defence and grabbed the equaliser to ensure his team remained unbeaten.
Samuel Warder (UJ)
Showed how valuable he is to his team by causing havoc on attack with his speed and no fear approach.
Graeme Dor (Wits)
After an average campaign, the man better known as Mlungu showed just why he comes highly rated as his hat-trick ensured Wits' first victory of the campaign, that also ended Tuks' chances of reaching the playoffs.
Josh Silent (UWC)
UWC's target man ended his season with another goal, making him one of the top goal scorers of the campaign.
Andile Batyi (UFH)
His side may have been seen as the easy targets but he certainly made finding the back of the net look easy after bagging another brace in their final match.
