Lebese Leaves An Emotional Goodbye Message To Chiefs
Default

New Mamelodi Sundowns signing George Lebese has left an emotional goodbye message to Kaizer Chiefs, Kaizer Motaung and his teammates, where he thanks them for the endless lessons learnt. Did you see his post?

The 28-year-old officially completed his return to Chloorkop on Thursday afternoon, after having left the club as a young boy.

Lebese spent nine years plying his trade with Chiefs, where he went on to win every domestic trophy imaginable. But even with all the success, things didn’t go his way, and he often found himself left out of the squad be it due to injury or other reasons.

The switch to Sundowns comes at the right time in his career, and even though he is excited to return home, he couldn’t help but feel emotional when bidding the Glamour Boys farewell.

Lebese took to Instagram to address the Motaung family and Kaizer Chiefs, saying: “Dear Motaung family and the Kaizer Chiefs team. Thank you for believing in me and taking me in at a very young age to make my dream as a professional football player reality. Thank you for trusting me even when I had my own doubts. Thank you for pushing me to merge to be the great player that I am today by motivating audaciousness and ferociousness.”

He then acknowledged his friends and colleagues: “To my ex-team members… Thank you for being a true family and being the perfect pieces to complete the puzzle in every match we played, without each one, the team would not have been complete. Thank you for your perseverance and team spirit through our victorious wins and opportunities of improvement (losses). Lastly, thank to each and every supporter who rallied behind both me and the team in good and in bad times. I wish you all nothing but success for the future as I take on a new venture

Check it out!

George im willig to advice you man , age is not on your side to reach stage like the young Dolly dids because it will take several times to get even position at national team level because you are too lazy to play football and youre a good player without ambition towards success in football , youre my favourite player but to advice you to pull up your socks not to prove a point to chiefs but your own benefit. Good luck boy!

Komphela is always chasing away good players from chiefs, just because he is after their girlfriends. Ubhizi ngokujola netintfombi talabafana lobabe. Bobabe bayajola, but not so public. Just look what damages caused by Reneilwe last night, nawe wahanjiswa ngendzaba yokujola, utakunyisa George lebese wena nhloko lenkhulu

Its clear this move was made for the financial gain. To be honest, if he couldn't make the 1st 11 at Chiefs anymore, wt guarantee does he hv tht he wl play ay Sundowns wth all the arsenal they hv. He need to look himself in the mirror and work hard

So Mr motaung chosen Kompela over a fan favourite and a player who served us for 9 years? What is it that they have seen in khompela which is better than what we got from Lebese? Just asking its not my place to question

It was an insult to Lebese to have him on the bench or on the stands while William "imbuzi or headless chicken" Thwala or Edmore "Mgcawempuku or Zip" Chirambadare are on the pitch . Form or lack of it Lebese is quality ! Did you see his last goal in Chiefs' colours in the Maize Cup ! I'm gonna miss you boy .
